Ziziki’s offers New Menu with an Array of Fantastic Dishes!

Step into new era of divine cuisine, eclectic décor, and unbelievable scenery at Ziziki’s. Veteran Chef/Owner Costa Arabatzis opened Zizki’s in 1994 featuring flavorful Mediterranean Cuisine, with an emphasis on Greek and Italian.
Ziziki’s is showcasing a new menu featuring the flavorful Saganaki which is imported kefalograviera cheese wrapped with fillo dough and brushed with a sweet rosemary butter; served with lemon and flamed with Ouzo.
All entrees are prepared daily with freshest ingredients featuring : Fresh Island Catch flown in daily, Filet Mignon, Dine with the Gods including three courses: Ziziki’s Bread, your choice of salad, a family style platter of Rack of Lamb, Spanakopita, Greek Island Chicken & Grilled Sweet Shrimp, served with asparagus. Lamb Osso Bucco, a house favorite, featuring Australian free-range lamb shanks simmered in tomatoes, roasted red-bell peppers, basil, bay leaf and garlic, served with Mediterranean orzo and asparagus.
If you would like something on the lighter side you should try the Caprese Salad; fresh boccaccini mozzarella, sweet roma tomatoes skewered and topped with basil & olive oil; served on spring mix greens tossed tossed with basil mint vinaigrette; or the Grilled Seafood Salad topped with Ahi tuna, salmon and skewered sweet shrimp; served with mixed greens, sweet onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and Feta cheese. For the sweet temptation, experience your choice of a decadent Baklava Ice-Cream Cake, a lovely Tiramisu and more.
Ziziki’s has recently earned the Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Award of Excellence” again in 2008; they won this award every year since opening in 1994. The menu also features two amazing specialty drinks including Ziziki’s Sunkiss and Ziziki’s Coffee, a perfect way to wrap up dinner.
Ziziki’s décor consists of a metropolis of unique fixtures from all over the world. The neighborhood bistro is finished in faux Italian yellow wine shelving and a cherry wood bar with a mahogany finish. Mary Arabatizis hand selected everything from the table tops, lighting and music, to the design of the eclectic open air patio dining. Design Within Reach, in collaboration with moderndallas.net, welcomes Don and Heather Ferrier, Gary Olp and Chad Vickers - builders on the forefront of sustainable residential design - for a panel discussion on the topic.
Don and Heather Ferrier are the father/daughter partners of Ferrier Custom Homes, the first firm in Texas (and third in the country) to receive a Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) award.
Gary Olp, of GGO Architects, is well-known Dallas architect who specializes in sustainable building.
Chad Vickers will represent Current Energy, an agency who finds energy-efficient solutions for the home.
The discussion will focus on how to make your home and everyday living more environmentally friendly.

PUBLIC ENEMY to Perform at GHOSTBAR

AFI Dallas and Ghostbar are a match made in heaven with a mutual mission to provide and celebrate entertainment, Hollywood fame and rising stars, and the talent that keeps the industry hot. So it is no surprise that the two have combined forces to bring to Dallas hip-hop legends Public Enemy.
On Tuesday, April 1 at Ghostbar, Public Enemy’s hip-hop lords Chuck D, Professor Griff, along with DJ Lord, will grace the 33rd floor of Ghostbar for the afterparty of their screening WELCOME TO THE TERRORDOME, a documentary that highlights their 20-year musical career and their impact on music. The Tuesday screening is at Angelica 6 at 7:15pm. The afterparty at Ghostbar is complimentary; doors open at 8pm.

Looking for outgoing and charismatic teams of two, who want to compete together. ABC’s popular series “The Bachelorette” is searching for America’s most eligible men and they will be Dallas looking for men who are ambitious, charming, successful, and ready to settle down (or those just looking to fluff their personal bio’s!)
