We’re starting something new - and it may be daily or it may not, it depends upon yours truly.

Dallas has been the inspiration for some amazing, and sometimes interesting, artists: Stevie Ray Vaughan to Norah Jones to Vanilla Ice. (We could mention Dixie Chicks when they were standing on the corner of Elm & Crowdus playing for coins to be tossed into a hat, but since they are such pompous asses and won’t acknowledge the fact they are from here, we won’t acknowledge them any further).

One of the legends, and the man for whom this generation considers his death as being “the day the music died” is the incomparable Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Check out one of his best songs…Crossfire.
