The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is hosting its 3rd International Book Fair October 24-26 to promote the love for books, reading and writing.

The event is free and open to the public. International, national and local authors will be reading and signing books. Cultural programs will again include artistic performances, poetry reading, music and children activities.

Short Story Contest
Do you have a story to tell? If so, you could win a prize in the Dallas Public Library’s Short Story Contest. The contest is part of the Third Annual International Book Fair to be held at the Central Library.

Despite being confied to a wheelchair as a result of polio, operations and amputations, she faces and traces some of the most colorful and controversial aspects of Mexican history.
