Gimme Shelter tonite at Inwood Theater

The midnight screening tonite is the classic Rolling Stones film “Gimme Shelter“.
This rockumentary covers the 1969 concert at Altamont Speedway outside of San Francisco where Mick and the boys headlined after gigs by such bands as Jefferson Airplane.
During the song Sympathy for the Devil, a Hells Angels member killed a concert attendee and it was caught on tape. The Angels were working security for the event.
If you’ve never seen this film, it’s definitely worth the price of admission - especially to witness it on the big screen. Also, you’ll be surprised at how Keith Richards looked during his pretty boy hey day.

It wasn’t just a “concert attendee”, it was a guy with a gun. His killing was ruled as self defense. What would you have happen if you were there? If the gun was aimed at you?
