The evening’s AFI International Film Festival festivities will take place in the AT&T Plaza at Victory Park and are open to the public.

At 7:30 pm, Governor Rick Perry will be joined by other VIP’s as he proclaims April 3, 2009, Texas Film Day, and director Peter Bogdanovich will be presented the AFI DALLAS Star Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements in film. The evening’s festivities will be punctuated by a 30-minute screening of “Great Texas Moments in Film”.
