This weekend is the annual “Art & Heart of a Motorcycle” show at the Janette Kennedy Gallery located inside the historic South Side on Lamar building at 1409 S. Lamar in Dallas.
The opening reception will take place on Friday evening from 7p-9p with Mister Troll performing.
This art gallery presentation of the modern phenomenon known as THE CHOPPER. These custom creations are truly artistic renderings of steel, chrome, imagination and heart. You are invited to join as the crowd celebrates the motorcycle as an art form.
The exhibit will run March 14 - March 16, 2008, and is being presented free of charge.
This will be a presentation of some of the most beautiful custom creations in the nation, each one an individual expression of the artist that built it featuring Texas builders Denny Garley of TC Customs; Craig Whitworth of CC Custom Trikes and Bikes and Thunder Alley Cycles from Burleson to name a few.
These bikes will be displayed in a gallery setting and strategically lit as unique pieces of artwork.The exhibit will begin with a Gallery Opening and Artists’ Reception on Friday, March 14, 2008, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Day two will include the Gallery Exhibit as well as a Ride-In Bike Show/Competition in the Artist Quarter at South Side on Lamar on Saturday, March 15, 2008, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Who:
