The Dallas Cowboys have renewed Tony Romo’s contract for 6 years and that will bring earn him $67.5 million dollars.
The ‘Boys are 6-1 this season and it will be interesting to see how they do with their next couple games on the road.
It’s still odd for me to hear the kind of money these players make. The father of one of my closest friends growing up was the kicker for the Cowboys — in the off season he sold promotional items (pens, caps, etc.). All the players had second jobs because being a professional football player didn’t cover their living expenses!
